We now offer chess classes specifically designed for kids aged 5 to 12. Registration is currently still open for Mondays at 6pm.
No knowledge of chess is necessary to register! Beginners are welcome!
We offer these classes for the length of the academic semester.
Price: $20/weekly or $80/monthly per child for 1x/week sessions.
This class is tailored to help your child harness their developing minds with essential chess skills like confidence, critical thinking, focus, and development in decision making.
Whether your child is a beginner and eager to learn the fundamentals or an experienced player looking to sharpen their techniques, this class caters to all skill levels with an engaging teaching style and activities to help students thrive on and off the chessboard.

Coach Dave is a chess enthusiast and USCF player and instructor. He has 8+ years of dedicated teaching experience and is from the local Athens/Atlanta 501(c)3 Organization Chess and Community, Inc.
