Group Spanish Classes

Our group Spanish classes meet once a week for one hour on weekday evenings. These classes are $25/session.

If you have studied some Spanish before (high school classes, college courses, DuoLingo, etc.) you may be able to jump into one of our existing classes immediately! To test out a class and find a good level fit for you, your first class is free.

Existing class times:

Upper beginner: Mondays at 6:30-7:30pm

Lower beginner: Wednesdays at 7:10-8:10pm and Thursdays at 6-7pm

*Intermediate and Advanced classes are available and can be joined with instructor's permission only after trying out a lower-level class and taking our quick online assessment.

If you are a total beginner (no Spanish experience), please join our stand-by list and we will notify you when we start up a brand-new class just for you.

1-on-1 Spanish Tutoring

While we prefer you join a group class (because languages are more fun practiced with others!), we offer 1-on-1 Spanish tutoring if availability allows.

This option is helpful for learners whose schedules don't allow attendance to our evening group classes, or for learners with specific goals (such as profession-related Spanish, travel vocab for an upcoming trip, or exam prep for Spanish classes).

Our 1-on-1 lessons are $40/hour.

How Our Stand-by List Works

If you are interested in joining a Beginner Spanish class, please join our standby list here or use the "Join Our Stand-By List" button above. We start new Spanish classes whenever we have enough people to form a class and instructor availability. You will receive an email or phone call confirming that you have been added to our stand-by list. Once we have enough people, we will reach out again to let you know that a new class is starting soon!

What to Expect

Our group classes meet in-person. Classes typically have between 5 and 7 people. In our beginner classes, students are not expected to have prior knowledge of Spanish. Some students may have some background with previous high school/college Spanish classes or the use of language-learning apps like DuoLingo, but don't worry if that isn't the case for you! We will teach the basics from the very beginning, and absolutely anyone is welcome to join. You can expect a friendly, laid-back atmosphere where you are encouraged to speak Spanish and make mistakes!

About Our Instructors

Ana is a native Spanish speaker with certifications in teaching foreign language and many years of experience teaching all ages.

Charlee holds a Spanish degree and is the owner of The Hello House. She has been teaching Spanish to both kids and adults for several years.

Ana and Charlee both have a passion for helping people learn Spanish!

Tuition/Pricing

Group Spanish classes are $25/class. 1-on-1 tutoring is $40/class. We have different payment plans available, including purchasing 3-week, 1-month, or 6-week blocks of classes. If you require different payment arrangements, please let us know and we can try our best to accommodate your needs. We want everyone to have access to learning Spanish!

How to Pay

We receive all payments online. Once you are added to the class, you will receive an email with a link to your invoice to pay. We don’t give any refunds at this time for missed classes or cancelations since we reserve your spot in the course and seats are extremely limited.

Class Schedule

Group classes usually meet once a week, typically in the evenings.

If there are any changes that need to be made to the schedule or any reschedules, we will notify you ASAP by email or phone.

Tutoring sessions can be scheduled for various time slots depending on instructor availability.
