Adult Spanish Classes

If you are interested in joining a Spanish class, please join our standby list here or use the "Join Our Stand-By List" button above. We start new Spanish classes whenever we have enough people to form a class. You will receive an email or phone call confirming that you have been added to our stand-by list. Once we have enough people, we will reach out again to let you know that a new class is starting soon!

We offer both in-person and online Spanish classes.

Our in-person classes are held at The Hello House (1060 Gaines School Road, Ste B4, Athens).

Our online classes are held via Zoom. 

Our classes typically have between 5 and 7 people. We offer beginner classes for an initial 6 weeks as well as the option to continue with the class beyond the 6-week period.

In our beginner classes, students are not expected to have prior knowledge of Spanish. Some students may have some background with previous high school/college Spanish classes or the use of language-learning apps like DuoLingo, but don't worry if that isn't the case for you! We will teach the basics from the very beginning, and absolutely anyone is welcome to join. You can expect a friendly, laid-back atmosphere where you are encouraged to speak Spanish and make mistakes!

Ana is a native Spanish speaker with certifications in teaching foreign language and many years of experience teaching all ages. 

Charlee holds a Spanish degree and is the owner of The Hello House. She has been teaching Spanish to both kids and adults for several years. 

Ana and Charlee both have a passion for helping people learn Spanish!  

In-person classes cost $150 for 6 weeks. No materials are needed.

Online classes cost $130 for the first 6 weeks. You will need to purchase Madrigal's Magic Key to Spanish ($15 on Amazon) before the start of class.

We receive all payments online. Once you are added to the class, you will receive an email with a link to your invoice to pay. We don’t give any refunds at this time for missed classes or cancelations since we reserve your spot in the course and seats are limited.

Classes usually meet once a week, typically in the evenings.

If there are any changes that need to be made to the schedule, we will notify you ASAP by email or phone.

You will have the option to continue past the first 6 weeks if you desire to continue learning Spanish! We feel that 6 weeks is a good amount of time for people to get acquainted with the language and the flow of our classes before committing to more. We will personally check in with you and ask if you would like to continue.
