English (ESL) Tutoring Program

Update: Our tutoring program is currently open to English learners only. We accept students from age 4 through 18. Registration is always open. Students meet with their tutor throughout the school year (does not include the summer). Please register here.

We tutor students in: 

- English speaking & conversation skills

- pronunciation

- reading

- academic writing

- creative writing 

- language arts

- early literacy skills

- English alphabet & phonics

Students meet between one and three times per week, one-on-one, with a tutor who will learn more about your child's individual needs and create a plan to develop his or her English skills.

All of our tutors are certified in English as a Second Language instruction.

Current new student price: $38/hour for lessons once per week, $35/hour for lessons 2 or 3 times per week.

We use a variety of developmentally appropriate methods of instruction, such as speaking games, shared reading time, creative activities, journal notebooks, and more. 

We also have bookshelves stocked with books of all levels, magazines, and graphic novels for our readers to enjoy at The Hello House or at home.
